1. About these terms

These Website Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your use of edisonacademy.com.au and any related subdomains, applications and online services (the Website) operated by Edison AI Academy (ABN 45 331 765 330) (Edison AI Academy, we, us, our).

2. Who we are

Edison AI Academy is a private, non-accredited education provider offering selective, project-based AI education programs for ambitious students aged 13–22. We deliver in-person and hybrid programs in Sydney, with quarterly cohort intake. We are not a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), are not registered with TEQSA, and do not issue nationally recognised qualifications.

Edison AI Academy offers proprietary, non-accredited AI education programs designed to build AI fluency, judgement, workflow capability and portfolio evidence. Students receive an Edison AI Academy Certificate of Completion and a portfolio of applied AI projects.

3. Eligibility and account use

The Website is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over, and by students aged 13–22 with the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

If we offer account registration, you agree to:

  • be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account;
  • notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Intellectual property

6. Information is general only

Information on the Website — including pages about programs, the Edison Method, the Edison Studio Model, admissions, learning outcomes and student development — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute educational, career, psychological, medical, legal or financial advice.

While we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that information on the Website is complete, current or error-free.

7. Programs, fees and enrolment

Any enrolment in an Edison AI Academy program is governed by the separate Edison AI Academy Enrolment Terms and Refund and Cancellation Policy, which take precedence over these Website Terms in respect of paid programs.

Program descriptions, schedules, faculty, formats and fees displayed on the Website are indicative and may change. Final terms apply at the point of enrolment.

8. Third-party links and tools

The Website may link to or integrate with third-party platforms, including payment processors, video conferencing tools (Zoom), learning platforms (Google Workspace, Notion) and generative AI services. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Edison AI Academy is not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your dealings with them are at your own risk.

9. Children's online safety

If we know that a user is under 18, we apply enhanced protections including limiting account features, requiring parent or guardian consent for certain activities, and applying our Child Safe Standards. Concerns about children's safety on the Website can be raised at contact@edisonacademy.com.au.

10. Disclaimers and consumer guarantees

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure or free from errors or harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for breach of a non-excludable consumer guarantee cannot be excluded, our liability is, at our option, limited to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

11. Limitation of liability

Our total aggregate liability to you arising from or in connection with the Website is capped at AUD $100 or, if you are an enrolled customer, the amount you paid us for the relevant program in the preceding twelve (12) months — whichever is higher.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Edison AI Academy and our personnel against all losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or your infringement of any third-party right.
